Diyas, Camera, Action!
Cineplex wanted to engage its South Asian customers during an important community event, Diwali—the festival of lights. This campaign leveraged the audiences’ love for the movies and challenged them to act out their Bollywood alter egos at theatre photo booths and a call-in radio contest. A clapperboard was used to visualize the nature of the contest with the word ‘lights’ replaced with its Hindi equivalent of ‘Diyas’.
